Ok, so I've figured out how I want to spend my points. I just need GM ruling on power/level/cost of a couple things-
Rite of Fetish - 4 exp to master?
I want to create a weapon along the lines of Tangling Whip, but with some changes.
Staff of Natural Fury [glow=red,2,300]Level 5, Gnosis 8 (same gnosis, +1 level)[/glow] NO attack roll, just activation on targeted enemy NO actual damage, due to above Same save as the whip Reduces DEX and STR by 1 Same stacking rules and method of countering as whip Has root or vine plant spirit instead of lizard Roots sprout out of the ground and entangle target, does not hinder movement beyond the DEX/STR penalties, roots attach to victim and break free of ground Can be used in umbra or natural settings without penalty In urban settings, must have 1+ 2 activation successes per layer of concrete etc that roots would break through - i.e. street would require 3 successes, top floor of 4 story bldg would require 9 successes
Does this sound reasonable, given the increased level and the compensatory limitations?

How do you want to work dodging and getting out of the binds of the roots? Because that will affect what level see the fetish at...
Also, yes, 4xp to master the rite sounds fine.

I was planning on using the same mechanic as the tangling whip, which is level 4 - DEX + ALERTNESS (DIFF 9) to dodge Roots have Strength 7, 5 health levels each for the purposes of rending or overpowering them
