"Um... I don't speak wolf, dude." James shrugs.

(lol)
Well, regardless of nonsensical wolf-speak, there is a nice large puddle of muck... pretty much crawling with leeches. Yummy.

"Oh, right...forgive me" Koeus says as he shifts to Crinos. "I will explain the situation to the spirit, and then act as interpreter for you." He turns to the muck/leeches, "My friend and I require the aid of a leech, is there one among you who will help?"

One of the leeches on top of the muddy pile crawls its way over to you and sinks into your leg. Assuming you give it some gnosis while it's latched on...
You feel a presence in your mind. Do you think you're one of the chosen?

"...that depends on what I have been chosen for."

Considering that you have come to us, to be like us. There are few that seek us out, and fewer that use what we have to offer...

You get the impression that it's smiling. And what would you be willing to give for that knowledge? Your blood will tide me over only so long.

"My will." I'll give him a will point.

The leech takes it permanently. Excellent. I like your style. I think I'll stay here for a little while... The leech sinks into your skin, leaving a crescent-shaped black mark on your right leg. The presence in your mind fades to the background, but you feel as though it has opened up a small spring of knowledge to you. As if you finally understand something you've been thinking about for weeks.
Give me shelter and keep me safe, and I will teach you all I know, Chosen.

James agrees silently. "I think we can go now."
