He's currently preparing some food. A light snack, perhaps.
"Looking for something?" he asks with a heavy Arabic accent.

"I hear you're the man to talk to if I want to hear some stories."

"Ah, a story then. I suppose I can oblige you... depending on what you want to hear about." He takes an oversized bite of sandwich and talks as he chews it.

"I want to hear about the Kin." He says. "Since I'm the only one here."

"I figured as much. Let me think... hm..." He takes a moment, considering which story out of his repertoire to tell.
"Ah! I know, I can tell you about my sister. I pin you as the kind... yanno, as a Get-Kin... that would appreciate a story with a little action in it.
"Now, my sis, she'd've been a right frightful Garou if she were born one. Had the ferocity that any wolf would've appreciated, and no less courage. She could take on crazy powerful creatures... with her bare hands. Well, that might be an exaggeration, but even if she had claws I don't think she would've needed to use them.
"Was a strangely cold night back in Egypt, just after a big sandstorm. We were sitting around a nice fire out in the desert, on our way to Alexandria. She'd insisted that she come along, and well... I couldn't really refuse her. She'd tormented me in my childhood, and I to this day can't say no to her wishes. Anyway, it was cold. Downright freezing. We both thought it weird, since it was in the middle of summer. Even during winter it didn't drop that far at night. It was when the heat of the fire turned cold that we ventured into the Umbra to see what was up.
"In hindsight, we should've peeked to see what was up before going, but I was less... well traveled back then, and Sis was not gifted with the ability. Needless to say, we stepped sideways and found ourselves face to face with a fuckin' Nexus Crawler. No wonder the weather was being freaky.
"Of course, we couldn't just let the thing get away... and well, again, we were less traveled and didn't know what the hell the thing was... much less what it was capable of.
"If I knew then what I do now, I probably would've just turned tail and run. But we were dumb, and we didn't. We decided to beat up on it. Unarmed, and alone.
"I laid into it with some claws and fang, but it didn't hardly seem to scratch it. Tried a few of my gifts... but they weren't working right. It turned the sand into silver, and that burned my paws something fierce. It didn't pay Sis much mind, since she left it alone to begin with. It was when it decided to start hurtin' me that she got mad.
"Sis was fearless. Swear, she must've been born from another family or something... because whatever strength she inherited, I sure as hell didn't get any. She called it her 'numina,' but she waltzed up to the Nexus Crawler, shoved her hand into what looked like its head, and sucked the thing dry of its power. A NEXUS CRAWLER! Talk about downright crazy, huh?"

"How... How is that possible?" James asks, awe clearly thick in his voice.

"Hell if I know for sure. Like I said, she called it her numina. Soul.... soul something." He thinks for a moment, "I think at one point she described it as reaching out and taking a piece of their soul and making yourself more powerful with it. Come to think of it, she could also enter peoples' dreams. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she had some mage blood in her or something."

(OoC - Ho-lee shite! An entire Nexus Crawler taken out by a single kinfolk? Damn! Packs of werewolves have a hard time doing that.)

"I'm pretty sure she could heal herself by injuring others. That was downright scary when she got desperate and started sucking out my life. Hurt a bit, but I healed it quick... so I don't blame her much for it."

"...Wow." James says in awe. "If it's so powerful, why haven't I heard of it before?"

"It's pretty rare, and not many kin are probably allowed to learn it--if you know what I mean... Though, you aren't exactly the sit at home and be content kind of kin... I'm sure you could find a way to figure it out if you really wanted," he says with a wink and a nudge.
