Can I use acrobatics as a dodge skill?

The GM rules that yes, if your acrobatics is higher, sure. Besides, it looks cooler. If you use it a lot all at once in a fight I might have you do a stamina roll to see if you start wearing yourself out... but that'd be after like, five rolls or something.
Anyway, you show that paw who's boss and he cleanly misses you. (("Shoo! Ya mangy spotted kitten!"))

("Hey! I'm hardly a kitten!") Obsidian sweeps his large tail about him arrogantly as he sits down just out of paw-reach. ("So...did I surprise you?")

("Why are you following me!? Go away!") he roars at you.

Mikhail's whiskers twitched in the feeling of a smile. ("A little bird told me so. I'm looking for a guide to find a name. There, I answered your question, now you answer mine.")

(("You think that's how it works?")) He turns to leave, kicking up snow in your face as he takes off running due south.

("I don't KNOW how it works. I don't even know if you're capable of being the one.") Mikhail growls, making his pursuit. (9, 8, 7, 5, 5, 5, 3 on Sta+Ath)

He doesn't stop this time. He keeps going for nearly a week straight. Some days you'll get close and see him, other days you have to track him by tracks or scent.
Eventually, on the ninth day, you catch up to him again. He's practically passed out from exhaustion.

Mikhail's not doing so hot himself. He just barely resists the urge to flop down next to the tiger, panting. Will alone keeps him upright on shaky limbs. ("I don't...give up...on things...you know...")

("... noticed.") He takes a moment. ("What do you want from me?")

Mikhail's tail lashed feebly. ("I told you. A bird spirit told me to find someone I could not surprise, and that they would guide me to becoming...other than me...more than me...") Mikhail looked up, and a spark of desperate confusion flared in his eyes. In that moment, a small crack in his pride let him say, ("I don't know how to be what I am. I don't know how to be Bastet.")

("Sucks... for you... but I guess.... I can teach... you some stuff... if you promise... to leave me... alone after that.")

Mikhail withdraws behind his curtain of pride. He begins grooming his paws and face. ("Your terms are acceptable.")

("Rest first... 'll teach you in the morning... and I'll be much more willing if you get me some food.") Mmmm... lazy cat.

Mikhail snorted, but he was hungry too. ("I'll see what I can find.") He finished his grooming and stretched, then set out to look for food. (Survival + Perception = 0,0,5,2)
