Alright, let's get started.
You're on the road... again. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the weather. The last several days have been uncooperative in that respect, and everyone's hoping it'll clear up before tomorrow for the wedding.
You also haven't been sleeping well the last several nights. Weird dreams keep waking you up at all hours--and you're starting to feel very unrested.
"You doin' alright over there, Jack?" your aunt Judy asks.

"Course I am, Auntie. No need ta worry about me. Bugger all this rain, though."
The dark spots under his eyes and his slouched posture kinda undercut his words, but he's trying to not show it.

"Yeah. Hope the fairgrounds aren't too muddy..." You can tell she isn't fooled, but she doesn't bring it up. "Least we're almost there. 'Nother ten minutes I'd say."

"Not too much. Hear he's a mite bit of a looker, though, and a rebel. Hopin' ta meet him 'fore the wedding."

"Oh really? Do ya fancy him, then?" He sticks his tongue out at her.

"Way too young for me, dear. Jus' tellin' ya the heresay."
You can see the fairground in the distance. There's already a TON of trailers there.

Jack's excited about the gathering - there's not really been anything like it in his life that he can remember. He might be tired, but the prospect of meeting other families (and kids), and the opportunity to try out a few of his new tricks on people who haven't seen them, perks him up.

Your aunt parks the trailer and ushers you out into the rain.
There's a group of kids about your age chilling out under a tree that catch your interest. Otherwise, most people are setting up or visiting under tents.

He walks over to the kids, smiling.
"Oy, bloody awful weather, innit?"

"Yeah, no bloody kidding," one of them says. There's five of them, and you can tell immediately that two of them seem a little put-off by your presence. The others look kind of indifferent. You don't recognize them, or think you're related.

He's going to take a coin out of his pocket and, casually but obviously, start rolling it across his knuckles as he speaks to them.
"So how long've ya been here? We been ridin' all th' way up from Ballindereen, an' me arse is damn sore."

Do they seem interested/impressed by my trick?

The main guy smiles a bit as he watches you, another guy is almost completely distracted by it, and the other three are keeping their distance.
"Dale," he extends his hand (the main guy).
