James nods silently and hands it to him.

Ulric continues to watch the fight, never having seen a werewolf fight (only participating in one unknowningly).

They both keep to Crinos and Hispo, moving around each other, making a big fuss, and tearing into each other with much ferocity. The crowd is also getting pretty rowdy.
Eventually, one pins the other and gets a strong hold on their throat with his teeth. He bites down a little and a whimper of defeat escapes from the losing garou.

Ulric gets excited and starts clapping at the spectacle, but then remembers that might not be the most appropriate action here and looks around to see what others are doing before continuing.

Cheering, howling, growling, barking... you're surrounded by wolves, afterall.
Your father is seen glancing at the map that James handed him, then stashing it in his pack. He goes back to cheering.
The caern elder allows the next dispute to be settled before finally opening the stage to anyone who wishes to uh... brag. A handful of Galliards gets into a bragging contest, shouting exaggerated stories of whose pack brought down the biggest Wyrm-creature this month from across the gathering. The entire ordeal is getting very rowdy.

During some of the bard stuff when people are being rowdy anyway, Ulric will ask his father quietly, "So, what now? Is this all that happens at one of these? I thought something important was going on."

"Sometimes important business gets brought up, but moots are mostly for reinforcing bonds within the sept."

Ulric nods, but isn't entirely sure if this is the most important use of time, especially for building and reinforcing bonds. Shouldn't they have like, practice or something?

You note some random brawling breaking out across the way as the stories goes on. Your father is really getting into cheering the fighters on--it appears they're just rough-housing and various tests of strength--and he encourages you to participate.

He nods and gets up, a little unsure of what kind of thing to take part in. But he shifts his way to Crinos and tries to find a challenge he thinks he can understand. (No sense playing the game if you already know you'll lose)

There's arm wrestling... you know that game.

There we go. He'll go approach the people arm wrestling.
"I want in on the next match."

One garou off to the side scoffs at you a bit, "Ha! I bet I could pin you in homid!"
The one wrestling nods at you, then glares at the guy making the comment. He quickly takes down the last guy then grips your hand hard.
Roll me raw strength, please, difficulty 6.

((1,2,3,7,7,8,8,0,*7)) He'll lock hands and eyes with the guy across from him, using the early stages of the match to vie for position and grip, which can become key later.

You lose a little bit of grip and ground to him, but he doesn't immediately overpower you. You're off to a decent start. Again!
